To make a donation to our national and international work in building awareness of FASD, the largest cause of mental retardation and learning disabilities in the industrialized world, please send a cheque to FASworld Canada, 250 Scarborough Golf Club Road, Toronto, ON M1J 3G8. If you are Canadian, a tax receipt will be issued presently as soon as we have received our charitable tax number. If you wish to make a tax deductible donation to build awareness in another country, please e-mail us at info@fasworld.com and we’ll put you in touch with a suitable charitable organization in the area nearest you.
We are pleased to send all donors of $25 or more a complimentary FAS Knot lapel pin. The 3/4" pin, a white enamel knot on a gold background, is based on a stained glass hanging designed by Victoria, B.C. artist Gail McLanders, commemorating the first International FAS Awareness Day on September 9, 1999. By wearing this pin, or the knotted cord, you identify yourself as part of the worldwide community working to fight the affects of prenatal alcohol.
