Dawson Creek, BC

The Complex Developmental and Behavioral Conditions (CDBC) Assessment and Support Services Program, is delivered in the community of Dawson Creek to children and youth from birth to 19 years old.

There are three interrelated aspects to the program; to coordinate intake and assessment for a limited number of referrals each year, to provide on-going support to families who are referred and accepted into the program, and to assist communities to build capacity to support families who have children with CDBC.

Axis’ CDBC program is part of the Northern Health Assessment Network (NHAN). NHAN provides assessment and diagnosis for children and youth living in the Northern Health Region who are experiencing Complex Developmental and Behavioral Conditions. Some examples of these conditions include Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Developmental Disorders.
